As another season draws to a close (at the end of June) we now begin preparations for the upcoming Annual General Meeting being held on Saturday the 24th of August 2024. 

With that in mind, it is time to announce that this year is my last year as your President. After five years in the role, I will not be re-standing at the upcoming AGM.  

I would like to thank you all for your support over the past five years. It has certainly been a learning curve for me, with exciting highs accompanied by some lows, but the highs have certainly outweighed the lows! 

By announcing my resignation ahead of the AGM, I hope to give you, as members, an opportunity to consider who you'd like to lead the Club through to the next phase. Now that the kitchen and bar has been leased, the Committee can redirect their focus on the development of Club activities around what everyone loves doing - fishing! 

I am also announcing on behalf of our Patron, Guy Jacobsen, that this is also the final year of his services. He too is stepping down from the Committee. 

I would like to personally say a huge thank you to Guy for his continued support, guidance and teachings over the last five years. His knowledge & experience has been invaluable during my tender.

 As per previous years, below are the positions that we need nominations for:

As a membership, let’s start discussing and asking people who would be keen to take on these positions.
